  • Publication of materials highlighting alumni achievements in the media and academic journals.
  • Information and image-building support for alumni through the media and television programmes.
  • Presentation of awards and honorary titles to alumni.

2. Professional Development and Knowledge Sharing

  • Organisation of professional development activities, including lectures, seminars, and training sessions.
  • Organisation of career fairs and research project fairs.
  • Engagement of alumni in the University’s research and educational initiatives.

3. Provision of Resources and Infrastructure

  • Provision of University venues for events.
  • Engagement of student volunteers in major events organised by alumni.
  • Provision of preferential access to sports facilities.
  • Provision of discounts on educational programmes for alumni and their children.
  • Access to the University Library’s electronic resources and study rooms.
  • Assistance in organising academic, cultural, and sporting events.

II. Responsibilities of Shakarim University Alumni

  • Promotion of the University’s brand within professional communities.
  • Provision of financial, organisational, and expert support, including through the endowment fund.

  • Assistance with the employment of graduates.
  • Provision of practical training placements and internships.
  • Organisation of alumni meetings and professional networking events.

3. Social and Charitable Activities

  • Participation in charitable and social initiatives.
  • Participation in University events.
  • Development of mentoring and experience-sharing opportunities between alumni and students.

The Purpose of the Alumni Association

The purpose of the Alumni Association is to promote mutually beneficial relations between the University and its alumni based on the principles of humanism, mutual assistance, support, sharing experience with young graduates, and continuity between generations.

The mission of Shakarim Alumni is to strengthen the sense of unity among all generations of University alumni, promote their personal fulfilment and social advancement, and support the strategic development of their alma mater.
